Panguitch is 10-0 against Escalante since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Panguitch Bobcats will square off against the Escalante Moquis at 7:00 p.m. Panguitch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.

Panguitch is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing El Capitan: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Panguitch blew El Capitan out of the water with a 60-17 final score. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 31 points or more this season.

Mallory Henrie and Makena Owens were among the main playmakers for Panguitch as the former posted 11 points in addition to seven boards and three steals and the latter went 5 of 11 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayt Miller, who put up nine points.

Meanwhile, Escalante played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Valley and fell 60-23. The defeat continues a trend for the Moquis in their matchups with the Buffalos: they've now lost six in a row.

Panguitch has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.7 points. As for Escalante, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Everything came up roses for Panguitch against Escalante when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 49-21 victory. Does Panguitch have another victory up their sleeve, or will Escalante turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
