McCook won the last time they faced Cozad and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bison sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Haymakers.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was McCook who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-12.

McCook found their leader in freshman Emma McConville, who had nine digs and two aces.

McCook has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Cozad, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

McCook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Cambridge on the 30th. As for Cozad, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Ord on the 7th.
