Cascade is 7-2 against Greencastle since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cadets will welcome the Tiger Cubs at 5:30 p.m. One thing working in Cascade's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
Cascade is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Frankfort just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hot Dogs by a score of 11-10.
Brayden Cravens put in work no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Cravens was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Greencastle entered their tilt with Park Tudor on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 5-3.
The team relied heavily on Nathan Sutherlin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Gavin Tyson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Cascade has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Greencastle struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
