Volleyball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Clearfield Falcons. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-12.

Nathan Toone was the offensive standout of the contest as he had seven digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Clearfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northridge will welcome Bountiful at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clearfield, they will be playing at home against Box Elder at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Box Elder will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Clearfield surely won't give up without a fight.
