Volleyball Recap: Bella Vista Find Success

Bella Vista not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 30, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Grant Pacers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bella Vista's got stronger as the match went on, holding Grant to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-13.

Regan Braiser paced Bella Vista's offense, picking up 13 kills. Braiser got some help from Sheafer Weber and her 20 assists. Shelby Kurtz controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bella Vista's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Grant, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Bella Vista will head out on the road to take on Vista del Lago at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Broncos' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Grant, they will host Chico at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
