Basketball Recap: Buckeye Valley Takes a Loss

Buckeye Valley played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 60-38 to the Bishop Ready Silver Knights. The Barons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Silver Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Buckeye Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bishop Ready, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckeye Valley and North Union will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Ready will take on Whitehall-Yearling in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bishop Ready's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
