Football Recap: Excelsior Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Excelsior Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Winnetonka Griffins, falling 39-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Griffins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Excelsior Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Winnetonka, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Excelsior Springs will venture away from home to take on North Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winnetonka, they will take on Cameron at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
