Basketball Recap: MAST Charter II Voyagers vs. Benjamin Franklin Electrons
It was a good run, but the MAST Charter II Voyagers unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They were beaten by Benjamin Franklin 75-39. MAST Charter II was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-18.
Benjamin Franklin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Soukare Fane led the charge by scoring 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fane has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kneco Hill, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
MAST Charter II's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Benjamin Franklin, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
