Basketball Recap: Jo Byrns Takes a Loss

Jo Byrns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the White House-Heritage Patriots, falling 44-21. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-23 back in December of 2024.

Jo Byrns' loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for White House-Heritage, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-14.

Jo Byrns and White House-Heritage could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Jo Byrns will square off against East Robertson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 250 places (350 vs. 100). Similarly, White House-Heritage (ranked 292nd) will meet Liberty Creek (ranked 107th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
