Softball Recap: Perry Yellowjackets vs. Caledonia-Mumford Raiders

Perry extended their losing streak to ten on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-10. They lost 15-3 to the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-5 on Tuesday.

As for Caledonia-Mumford, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

For Caledonia-Mumford's part, Grace Beach was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Beach was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
