Volleyball Recap: Plainview Gets the Win

Plainview won the last time they faced Neligh-Oakdale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Plainview was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13.

Riley Miller paced Plainview's offense, picking up five kills. Miller got some help from Mallory Mauer and her 11 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Plainview's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Neligh-Oakdale, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Plainview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Madison on the 2nd. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lutheran-Northeast on the 2nd.
