Football Recap: Owasso Continues Road Dominance on Friday + How To Watch

Owasso extended their postseason success on Friday against Jenks. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans, sneaking past 39-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted since November 29, 2024.

Owasso's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Hall led the charge by rushing for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also catching one score. Hall's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. Drew Frankenfield was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Owasso, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cole Campbell, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Owasso pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.6 points over those games. As for Jenks, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Owasso will face off against Bixby at 7:00 p.m. on the 6th. The Rams will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Jenks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
