Dallas Christian had a senior duo take command as Luke Carney rushed for 67 yards and three touchdowns and Titus Muse Jr gained 218 total yards and three touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Carney.

Pittsburg lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kord Johnson, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 136 yards on only 12 passes. Another rusher making a difference was Twan Thompson, who rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Dallas Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pittsburg, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
