Johnstown dropped their record down to 8-3 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 4-0 to the Canajoharie Cougars. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Sir Bills were not able to get on the board.

As for Canajoharie, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games.

For Canajoharie's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Hyney, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Hyney is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Nicholas Barlow was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
