Volleyball Recap: Jacksboro Starts off Right with Win over Chico

Jacksboro gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chico Dragons. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

While Jacksboro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-23.

Hayden Walker paced Jacksboro's offense, picking up 14 kills. Walker got some help from Brooke Reaves and her 16 assists.

Jacksboro will take on Electra at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Chico, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
