Monroe is  a perfect 9-0 against Forest Hills since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Redhawks will host the Yellow Jackets  at 7:00  p.m. Monroe knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Forest Hills likes a good challenge.
On Friday, Monroe didn't have too much trouble with Mount Pleasant  as they won  39-21. The Redhawks haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.

 Jamir Jackson continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 146 yards and two  touchdowns on only 15 carries. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 102.2  rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was  Brayden Graceffa, who rushed for 11 yards and one  TD.
 Monroe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over.  Jeremiah Alexander picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. Another thorn in Mount Pleasant's side was  Jeremiah Lindsey, who made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Forest Hills had just enough and edged out Anson  14-12 on Friday. Given the Yellow Jackets' advantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Bearcats are ranked 267th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
 The critical scores for Forest Hills came from  Kylan Polk and  Jorey Taylor.
 Monroe's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Forest Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
 Everything went Monroe's way against Forest Hills when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, as Monroe made off with  a  34-9 win. Do  the Redhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellow Jackets turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
