Basketball Game Preview: Glacier Peak Grizzlies vs. Union Titans

The Glacier Peak Grizzlies will challenge the Union Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Union took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Glacier Peak, who comes in off a win.

Glacier Peak can't be too worried about heading out to take on Union: they just beat Emerald Ridge at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Glacier Peak came out on top against Emerald Ridge by a score of 52-43 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Grizzlies sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Union has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-66 heartbreaker at the hands of Woodinville. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (56), the Titans still had to take the loss.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Glacier Peak, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.

Glacier Peak skirted past Union 47-45 when the teams last played back in March of 2020. Does Glacier Peak have another victory up their sleeve, or will Union turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
