Baseball Recap: Christ's Church Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Christ's Church Academy can now relate to. They lost 7-0 to the St. Joseph Academy Flashes on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flashes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Monday.

Christ's Church Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Watson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Christ's Church Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for St. Joseph Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Joseph Academy beat Christ's Church Academy by a score of 7-0 later that day.
