Preview: Colquitt County Packers vs. Camden County Wildcats

The Colquitt County Packers will take on the Camden County Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Colquitt County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.

Colquitt County can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by Brooks County at home to the tune of 57-29. With Colquitt County ahead 33-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Colquitt County's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Nyleigha Knighton, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Amira Walters- smith, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Knighton is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Amareyia Knighton, who scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Camden County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 60-35 loss at the hands of Lowndes. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Camden County has scored all season.

Colquitt County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Camden County, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-5.

Colquitt County came up short against Camden County when the teams last played back in January, falling 46-42. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Camden County's Taylor Rietveld, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds.
