Football Game Preview: Taylor Yellowjackets vs. Clinton-Massie Falcons

The Taylor Yellowjackets will square off against the Clinton-Massie Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Taylor comes in on four and Clinton-Massie on seven.

On Friday, Taylor didn't have too much trouble with Finneytown as they won 32-14.

Easton Schrimpf was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 289 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Schrimpf was just one part of a punishing run game: Taylor was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 304 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton-Massie). They blew past Batavia 56-14 on Friday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Taylor's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Clinton-Massie, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
