Baseball Recap: Barstow Comes Up Short

Barstow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Silverado Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-5 on April 2nd.

Barstow saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Hererra, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Barstow's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Silverado, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9.

While Barstow had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
