Softball Recap: Hot Springs Comes Up Short

Hot Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Tularosa Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Saturday.

Hot Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Tularosa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tularosa beat Hot Springs by a score of 12-1 on Tuesday.
