The Currituck County Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Deep Creek Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Currituck County and Holmes had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights' pitcher stepped up to hand the Aces a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The game was the first time the Knights have beaten the Aces on their field since March 5, 2019.

Kaydence Hassell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Hassell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
