Basketball Recap: Guthrie Takes a Loss

Guthrie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 59-14 loss at the hands of the Casady Cyclones.

Guthrie's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Casady, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Guthrie will head out to take on Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Casady, they will venture away from home to square off against Crossings Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
