Basketball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the Pleasant Hill/Western Wolves, falling 57-13. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, with their most recent defeat being a 60-12 loss back in December of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Rachel McMullen, who posted 24 points. She is becoming a predictor of Pleasant Hill/Western's success: when she posts at least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 12-14 when she doesn't).

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Pleasant Hill/Western, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Seymour didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-33 loss against West Prairie on the 15th. As for Pleasant Hill/Western, they have also already played their next game, a 42-33 win against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia on the 15th.
