Volleyball Recap: Service Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Service and Chugiak squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Service had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-12.

Avery Warren was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October.

Service has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-15-3 record this season. As for Chugiak, they pushed their record up to 33-15-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Service didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Juneau-Douglas on the 14th. As for Chugiak, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Colony on the 14th.
