Volleyball Recap: Powell Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

There's no place like home for Powell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Clinton Dragons by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Dragons back in August, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Powell walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-20, 23-25, 25-12.

Powell pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Clinton, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Powell will square off against rival Halls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clinton is set to challenge their familiar foe Gibbs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
