Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Timberline). Their defense stepped up to hand the Capital Golden Eagles a 7-0 shutout on Wednesday. Timberline haven't had any issues with Capital recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Timberline's offense was hitting Capital from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Patrick Kane led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Timberline's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Capital, they dropped their record down to 0-5-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
