Denver Jewish Day piles up the points against Mile High Academy

The Denver Jewish Day Tigers can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They blew past Mile High Academy, posting a 64-22 win on the road. That looming 64-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Denver Jewish Day yet this season.

Leading Denver Jewish Day to victory were Solly Bielsky and Keenan Winnerman. Bielsky scored 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Winnerman scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Winnerman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lev Friedman, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Denver Jewish Day, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Mile High Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Denver Jewish Day will head out on the road to take on Flatirons Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Flatirons Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday. As for Mile High Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Campion Academy at 6:15 p.m.
