2010 notes: Coach Ramsey expects to see some improvement in his second season despite heavy losses to graduation. Waco will build its defense around LB Eche (71 tackles, 2 sacks), who Ramsey calls a "strong, passionate player." DB Hines (24 tackles, 7 PBUs) and DB Gully both play with an aggressive style, while DL Sims provides strength up front. The offense features a couple of speedy runners in RB Gibson (124-578, 6 TDs) and RB Harris (427, 5 TDs). OL Boffman (50 pancakes) anchors the line, along with beefy OL Mitchell (10 pancakes). WR Searcy (16-243, 3 TDs) is the top pass catcher. DB/WR Norwood and QB/WR McDowell are future stars.
