Basketball Recap: McNair Academic Comes Up Short

McNair Academic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Plainfield Tigers.

McNair Academic's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Plainfield, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the McNair Academic Cougars duke it out with the Lincoln Lions at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for South Plainfield, they will venture away from home to challenge Morris Knolls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Plainfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Morris Knolls likes a good challenge.
