Baseball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman lost against Malakoff back in February of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Quitman Bulldogs took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Malakoff Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Malakoff, they moved to 7-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quitman will challenge Winona at 1:00 p.m. on March 18th. Quitman is facing Winona at the right time seeing as Winona is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Malakoff will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Palestine at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st.
