Volleyball Recap: Forrest City Takes a Loss

Forrest City had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-6 to make it seven. They lost 3-0 to the Wynne Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

As for Wynne, the win got them back to even at 9-9-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.

Wynne was led to victory by Ella Reed and Lia Bunch. Reed had 20 assists and seven aces, while Bunch had nine kills and six aces. Reed is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Zoe Scott also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Forrest City is set to take on their familiar foe Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wynne will square off against rival Lonoke at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
