Soccer Recap: Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

If Leadership Academy was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Lexington last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 8-0 to the Bishop McGuinness Villains on Tuesday. Leadership Academy have struggled against Bishop McGuinness recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bishop McGuinness, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Looking ahead, Leadership Academy will be playing at home against Carver at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop McGuinness, they will head out on the road to face off against Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop McGuinness will need to watch out since Oak Grove have now posted at least four goals in their last four contests.
