Flag Football Recap: Apache Junction Takes a Loss

The Apache Junction Prospectors came up short against the Mayer Wildcats on Thursday and fell 20-13.

Apache Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mayer, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Looking ahead, Apache Junction will take on Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 4.2 points per game this season, so the Prospectors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mayer, they will challenge Mohave Accelerated at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
