Basketball Recap: Clay County Takes a Loss

Clay County lost against Jackson County back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clay County Bulldogs lost to the Jackson County Blue Devils at home by a 58-43 margin.

Clay County's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Jackson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clay County will head out to take on Jellico at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson County, they will venture away from home to face off against Watertown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Watertown has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with six straight defeats, while Jackson County will come in with 12 straight victories.
