Volleyball Recap: Savannah Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Savannah Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Jenkins Warriors. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in October of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Among those leading the charge was Emily Carter, who had nine assists and seven aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Savannah Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Jenkins, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Savannah Classical Academy has already played their next match (against Groves), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jenkins, they will take on Johnson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
