Knight fell victim to Victor Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Victor Valley Jackrabbits. The Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Knight saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giovanni Gonzalez, who went 2-for-3 with one double. The dominant performance also gave Gonzalez a new career-high in hits (two).

Knight's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Victor Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
