Baseball Game Preview: Pendleton County Wildcat vs. Moorefield Yellow Jackets

The Pendleton County Wildcat will head out on the road to square off against the Moorefield Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pendleton County has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 16th.

Monday just wasn't the day for Pendleton County's offense. They came up short against Spring Mills on Monday, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, Moorefield lost 14-4 to Strasburg on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

Moorefield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Pendleton County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Everything went Pendleton County's way against Moorefield in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Pendleton County made off with a 14-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcat since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
