Basketball Recap: Clear Falls Comes Up Short

Clear Falls has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clear Springs Chargers on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Chargers are ranked 37th).

Clear Falls' loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Clear Springs, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-3.

Clear Falls will venture away from home to challenge Clear Brook at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clear Springs has already played their next matchup (against Dickinson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
