Iola is 7-0 against Leon since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Iola Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Leon Cougars at 10:00 a.m.

Last Tuesday, Iola was able to grind out a solid win over Leon, taking the game 46-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Iola got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brody Vaughn out in front who went 7 of 13 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler EllioTT, who posted 12 points and six steals.

Leon has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Iola, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2.
