Lakin lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hugoton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Broncs blew past the Eagles 12-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Broncs have posted against the Eagles since April 25, 2019.

Moriah Ortiz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched. Ortiz was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
