Southwestern is 4-0 against Batesville since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Southwestern Rebels just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Batesville Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Southwestern knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Batesville likes a good challenge.

Southwestern is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by New Washington to the tune of 80-49 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Batesville came up short against Lawrenceburg on Friday and fell 62-52.

Batesville's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Southwestern, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Southwestern against Batesville in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the team secured an 85-52 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southwestern since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
