Marion won the last time they faced Greene County Tech and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win.

Marion was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-7, 25-19.

Marion was led to victory by ABBIGALE SIMMONS and CLAIRE BRINKLEY. SIMMONS had nine digs and four aces, while BRINKLEY had eight assists and six digs. That's the most aces SIMMONS has posted since back in September of 2024.

Marion now has a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marion will face off against rival Nettleton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Greene County Tech is set to challenge their familiar foe Mountain Home at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
