Soccer Recap: Wagner Comes Up Short

Wagner lost to Boerne-Champion back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunderbirds lost 8-0 to the Chargers. Wagner have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Boerne-Champion, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-4-1.

Looking ahead, Wagner will face off against Alamo Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Alamo Heights' last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Boerne-Champion, they will take on Tivy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
