After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Ferndale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Hoopa Valley Warriors 11-9. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Madison Gossi was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Rainy Rodriguez, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Ferndale moved to 4-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Hoopa Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
