Canyon View and Manti are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2014, but not for long. The Canyon View Falcons will be playing at home against the Manti Templars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canyon View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryder Miller, who threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 30 yards. A healthy portion of that aerial production (81 yards to be exact) went to Trenton Ludlow, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Maison Starkweather was his usual excellent self, throwing for 400 yards and eight touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 58 yards on only five carries. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 328 passing yards dating back to last season. Jaiden Henningson was another key player, picking up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Manti, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Canyon View might still be hurting after the 61-40 loss they got from Manti in their previous matchup back in September of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Starkweather, who rushed for 173 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 331 yards and three touchdowns.
