Basketball Recap: Sherwood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Holden last Tuesday, Sherwood came back down to earth. The Sherwood Marksmen were dealt a 62-34 defeat at the hands of the Crest Ridge Cougars on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Marksmen in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

Sherwood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Crest Ridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Sherwood will host Butler at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crest Ridge, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Crest Ridge Cougars challenge the Orrick Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
