The Boca Raton Christian Blazers are taking a road trip to square off against the St. Edward's Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Edward's took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Boca Raton Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Boca Raton Christian humbled Gateway Charter with a 41-8 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blazers.

Boca Raton Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joey Weber, who threw for 386 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt. Weber has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last eight times he's played. Boca Raton Christian's leading receiver Christian Anderson was Weber's top target yet again, picking up 184 receiving yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, St. Edward's didn't have quite enough to beat Cocoa Beach last Friday and fell 28-25. The Pirates gained 167 more yards on the day, but it was the Minutemen that made the best use of them.

Boca Raton Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Edward's, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Boca Raton Christian couldn't quite get it done against St. Edward's in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 36-27. Can the Blazers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
