Softball Recap: Telstar Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carrabec, Telstar was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Forest Hills Tigers.

Cadie Campbell and Mya Buck did most of the damage at the plate: Campbell went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Buck went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most hits Buck has posted since back in April.

Telstar's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Forest Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Telstar will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
